Late lunch at TCC Vivo

Brought hubby for his first dining experience at TCC. The restaurant is not busy at 3pm on a Monday afternoon. We quickly settled down and started exploring the menus.

For drinks, I had the Apple Peach Iced Tea $7.20++ while hubby had the Cafe Latte $6.90++. My tea tasted of apples and cinnamon, I couldn't taste any peach flavor at all. Shall stop ordering this drink in future. Hubby feedback that his latte was good.

I ordered a Tuna Tataki Salad $14.50++ for sharing and Pan-seared Chicken Breast w/ Shogayaki Sauce $22++ for my main dish. Hubby had the Wafu Beef Spaghetti $20.50++. The salad was decent, the carrot dressing tasted very light and blends well with the tuna slices.

My chicken breast was very well prepared, meat is tender and not dry and the skin is slightly crispy. The lotus roots were crunchy and refreshing. The onion roasted potato was nice too.

Hubby was very satisfied with his pasta dish...he polished off the dish within minutes! The beef was tender and spaghetti was done al dente...another well done dish.

The desserts end the lunch on a high note. My all time fave Dark devotion $11.80++...Lavish dark chocolate cake that oozes temptingly smooth chocolate lava. Topped with vanilla ice-cream, summer berries compote and a delicate orange sesame tuile...watch the lava flow!

Hubby is a fan of cheese cakes and ordered their Zesta Cheesecake $6++...somehow the strawberry decor was missing (from the photo) but hubby said the cake taste good nonetheless.

Total bill was $88.98 after 15% member discount, we submitted a new member application for hubby. We will be back again soon!
