Tulipmania @Gardens by the Bay

I was very excited when I first saw the ad from KLM facebook page. KLM, the main sponsor, has flown in 20,000 tulip bulbs to be planted at the Flower dome. I thought 20k sounds like a big number...it could be Keukenhof gardens experience all over again. However, to my disappointment, Keukenhof is quite impossible to be re-created in tropical SG. Anyway, my friends and I still enjoyed viewing various tulips species that are not commonly found in SG...in aircon comfort.

Other than tulips, they also flown in Hyacinths that are also commonly found at Keukenhof gardens.

Tulips galore...

The mini mini tulip field with the small windmill that remotely resembles the Holland one..

Daffodils and Dahlias...are also common flowers on display at Keukenhof.

This was my first visit at the Gardens by the Bay...we paid the usual ticket prices for entry to both aircon conservatories and the OCBC Skywalk. No special charges for the Tulipmania event.
