Japan Day 1 - Shinjuku, Tokyo

Woke up early at 2am...need to check-in at airport at 4am for our 6am flight...sleepy zzzzz...
After checking in, we had a quick bite at a hotdog kiosk...

Then boarded our NorthWest flight bound for Minneapolis via Tokyo. Security checks were so kiasu for US flights...must first be interviewed by an officer, then during luggage scanning i still kena take off shoes for checking...my Coach bag also subjected to 'poison test' hehe...but after tat everything went fine...the flight journey was pretty pleasant with comfy seats with better legroom than SQ...a very delicious Nasi Lemak BF...n individual inflight entertainment...not bad for a price of $799nett

Our flight arrived at Narita airport ard 1405hr japan time...cleared customs n got on the Limo bus departing at 1505hrs. Took a few shots while onboard....can feel tat autumn has already arrived in japan

Got off the Limo bus at abt 1630hrs...walked 5mins to my first hotel of the tis trip...Kadoya hotel...me n hubby loved it...got free broadband internet, Toshiba flat screen TV (think its plasma), Tiger airpot, sophisticated spray/massage toilet bowl etc. The hotel also has a Laundry room with coin operated Washer & Dryer...300yen to wash n 200yen to dry...40yen for detergent...free ice cubes machine also located there...at the lobby, they sell very pretty umbrellas leh...look at these..cute hor?

For the first nite, we only walk walk ard the vicinity n get dinner at a Udon hse...their Gyoza stuffed chix wings rocks!

Our area quite happening leh hehe...
