Dinner at TCC @Bugis Junction

Last birthday celebration of the month, we are going to enjoy half price dining at TCC using my member birthday voucher. We decided on the Bugis outlet as my friend wanted to buy stuffs from Pandora.

It has been a while since we last visited this branch, the restaurant had been through a complete face lift!

As we were all hungry, we placed orders pretty quickly after reading the menus.

Some drink to quench our thirst while waiting for the food to be served. I had the Lychee & Rock Melon Melody, which was sweet and refreshing. My friends picked the Iced Pinktrus Passion Tea, a blend of grapefruit with passion fruit. We have mixed review over this fruity tea probably due to a slight bitter aftertaste from the grapefruit peels, some like it some don't.

Next up were the Soup, Salad and Sides.

Baby Crayfish Salad, fresh greens with chunks of crayfish meat topped with chili mayo dressing and tobiko roe. This was as delish as we remembered it to be.

Spicy Hot Wings, these were passable, no wow factor though. Crispy Soft Shell Crab, I liked this dish better cos of the tangy dip which goes really well with the crab.

My friend's Seafood Escapade soup, no complains from her.

My Oven Roasted Spring Chicken, was excellently cooked to perfection, meat was moist, tender and nicely flavored with brown juice. Very good!

My friends had pasta, Seafood Aglio Olio which was an all time favorite dish from TCC, and Clack & Clams Crayfish Pasta, lavished with generous amount of baby crayfish and fresh clams. Both were a hit with their diners.

We were filled to the brim by the time we're done with our main courses. So we decided not to order desserts. Food and service level here had maintained at expected standards. We will be back again!

Dinner at TCC Raffles Xchange

Another impromptu meet up with evil sistas. We are headed to Custom House Terrace to get our Magnum fix. Prior to that, a quick dinner at TCC since they are still having 1 for 1 main course promo for members.

They have a new food menu and drinks menu as well. Many new items available, especially the main courses section.

I ordered their new drink Peachy Lychee Ice Tea $7.80++, it was nice...sweet and refreshing. My other sistas had their drink of the month Summer Cabaret $7.20++, feedback from them were positive for this citrus drink.

Some sides we shared, Miso Chicken Skewers $12.50++, Spicy Hot Wings $15++ and Country Fries $10.50++. The chicken balls on skewers were yummilicious, the fries were nice and crisp, but the spicy wings weren't that good though.

Smoked Salmon Salad $17++, portion was quite big with lotsa greens dressed with soy mustard sauce. The jap style dressing was really yummy.

My Soft Shell Crab pasta w/ Black Pepper sauce $22++, the soft shell crab was nicely executed and very delish. The pasta was alright but there was a serious overdose of black pepper sauce, making it not so delectable overall.

Pan-seared Salmon w/ Moro Miso sauce $26++, served with seaweed mashed potato and jap style red miso sauce. My sista wanted the done-ness to be medium but the salmon was served well done. The meat was a tad dry and the miso sauce was a lil too salty.

Our dining experience here was not bad overall, food were mostly tasty, service level was friendly but slow during peak hours. We might come back again when there's more discounts or promos.

Late lunch at TCC @Keppel Bay Marina

TCC has recently revamped their menu and introduced a significant number of new dishes and beverages. We haven't been visiting them since last year and its time to check out the one outlet that is serving an entirely different menu from other TCC boutiques, TCC By The Bay, at Keppel Bay Marina.

Located at level 2, this TCC boutique has tall ceiling and surrounded by full height glass windows with unobstructed view of the scenic marina area. Natural sunlight flooded the dining area providing patrons an Al fresco dining kinda feel but in aircon comfort.

The restaurant serves a diverse international clientele thus they have a different menu to cater to multinational palates. On top of that, they have a kids menu that is not available in other TCC outlets.

All of us ordered the Monthly Special drink, Berri Jubilee $8++, a pretty in pink ice-blended berries drink dressed with vanilla whip cream and topped with lovely flowers and pearls. Photo taking frenzy ensues...

This drink is not only good to look at but tasted great too...refreshingly sweet and fruity with bits of strawberry seeds inside. Very nice!

Roasted Pork Belly Salad $16++, thinly sliced pork belly, served with mesclun salad tossed in grape vinaigrette and accompanied with tomato confit and apple purée.

The sweet and tangy sauce complimented the savory pork slices really well, the dish was wiped out within mins...undoubtedly delicious.

My friend's Crab & Corn Chowder $12++, served with crab claw meat, sautéed corn kernels and garlic toast. The soup does not have strong flavor but has generous serving of crab meat, overall passable.

My main course, Roasted Pork Belly with Sauerkraut $28++, served with broccolini, roasted fingerling potato and cider infused brown jus.

Two thick chunks of pork belly roasted to perfection with crispy skin and tender juicy meat. The brown jus that comes with the roast pork was extremely yummy too...slurp!

Grilled Grain-fed Beef Tenderloin with Red Wine Jus $36++, served with dauphinoise potato, sautéed baby carrots, asparagus spears and capsicum.

Friend requested for medium rare, the beef was done medium when served but meat was still tender so she was not disappointed at all.

Seafood Aglio Olio $26++, served with with pan-seared giant scallops, blue-shell mussels and prawns. We were quite surprised that the scallops were that huge! Seafood were very fresh and succulent and the pasta was well executed too.

Stuffed Cheesy Chicken in Parma Ham Wrap $27++, oven-roasted parma ham-wrapped chicken breast, stuffed with mozzarella cheese and fresh sage, served with potato dauphinoise and chicken jus. No complains for this dish accept that it was very filling.

We loved dining at TCC By The Bay, food was really good and different from the other outlets. And coupled with the magnificent waterfront view and friendly service staffs, we really hoped to come back again to try more nice dishes.

Dinner at TCC @MBS

The evil sistas meet again for our endless impromptu dinner at TCC. This was my second visit to the MBS outlet. This outlet has quiet down a lot, it wasn't busy like the previous time I was there and many items on the menu had became unavailable. Is this place on the verge of closing down?

As usual, we ordered some small bites to share. I only took photo of the Spicy Hot Wings $12.80++. These were good, skin was slightly spicy and very crispy. Meat was juicy and tender...nice.

I ordered the Pan-seared Chicken Breast w/ Shogayaki Sauce $22.00++. Chicken breast was well marinated and cooked just right, meat was tender, not tough. The shogayaki sauce was really yummy.

My friend and her hubby had the Crisp club sandwich $16.00++ and Red-hot Chicken Spaghetti $19.00++. The spaghetti tasted alright but not spicy enough. The sandwich was over-toasted...not nice.

My friend's Pan-fried Salmon w/ Citrus White Wine Sauce $24.80++. Salmon was slightly overcooked, sauce was a tad buttery...but overall quite nice.

We ordered some desserts to share...

Pinana Landing $10.00++
The pineapple cake was very dry and tough. The banana slices was sweet though...a failed dish.

Apple-art Parfait $10.50++
This was not too bad, the green apple mousse contains alcohol.

The service here was bad...they were understaffed and I had to top up my own ice water after being ignored for too long. One more restaurant on my BAN list!
