Summer vacation in Hokkaido, July 2010

Sharing my itinerary for peeps who are planning to see lavendar in Hokkaido.

Sapporo – Day 1-4 (Toyoko Inn Sapporo-eki Minami-guchi, 4N)
D1 – Sapporo City 
D2 – Shiroi Koibito Park, Odori Park, Clock Tower/TV Tower (evening/sunset), Susukino/Ramen Yokocho (nite)
D3 – Otaru Canal, Otaru Music Box Museum/Glassware shops, Evening Lights up
D4 – Historic Village of Hokkaido or Yurigahara Park

Lake Toya – Day 5-6 (Toya-Kohantei, 2N)
D5 – Lake Toya (Toyako), Toyako Onsen town/Evening Fireworks
D6 – Usuzan Ropeway, Toyako Pleasure Boat Cruise

Furano – Day 7-10 (Pension Crayon House, 4N)
D7 – Furano Town
D8 – Farm Tomita, Shikisai no Oka Flower Farm
D9 – Saika no Sato Farm, NakaFurano Flower Park, Hinode Park
D10 – Biei town, Biei Hokusei no Oka Observation Park (half day guided tour)

Hakodate – Day 11-13 (Toyoko Inn Hakodate Ekimae Asaichi, 2N)
D11 – Hakodate City Harbor (nite)
D12 – Onuma National Park, Mount Hakodate Ropeway (nite)
D13 – Morning market (Hakodate Asaichi)

Sendai – Day 13-15  (Toyoko Inn Sendai Nishi-guchi Hirose-dori, 2N)
D13 – Azur observation deck (nite)
D14 – Matsushima, Ichibancho Shopping Arcade (nite)    
D15 – Asaichi morning market

Tokyo – Day 15-18  (Kadoya Hotel, 3N)
D15 – Rikugien, Ginza (nite)
D16 – Day trip to Nikko, Toshogu Shrine/Taiyuinbyo/Futarasan Shrine
D17 – Day trip to Gotemba Premium Outlets
D18 – Back to SG

  13. depends on where u wanna go lor...winter furano becomes ski paradise..no more flower farms wor..or u wanna go further north or east to see drift ice?

  16. Will find out more abt the attractions in Hokkaido first :) Hee... Today we watched so many travel shows on Japan, so thought of going there in Dec although both hubby and I had been there b4 with diff grps of pple. But both of us had not been to Hokkaido

  17. if u self drive u can visit Daisetsuzan national park...very beautiful..can only access via driving..
