Macau trip Day 1, Venetian Macao & House of Dancing Water 水舞間

Day 1 started off with an afternoon flight from Changi Airport T2 to Macau. We had a quick lunch at Cedele at T2 Departure hall before boarding.

I had the Crispy bacon & avocado sandwich which was very yummy. Hubby had the Ham & cheese sandwich, no complains from him.

Some shots on the Tigerair flight...

Landed and found that Macau is a haze city...

After clearing customs, we boarded the Complimentary hotel shuttle to Venetian (departs every 15mins).

As we have a show to catch at City of Dreams later, we decided to leave our luggage in the room after checking in and came back to check out our room after the show.

I had pre-booked my 水舞間 show tickets and had to pick them up at the COD Box office.

We had about 30mins left and no time to have dinner so we bought croissants to eat from the Pacific Coffee nearby.

The billion dollar hi-tech and fully customized water theater...

The show was magnificent, the awesome stage can turn from dry floor to a deep enough dive pool for performers to plunge down from the ceiling within seconds! The performers are all highly trained and did a good job wowing the audience with their stunts. No wonder this is the Top must do activity on Tripadvisor!

After the show, we spent some time checking out the light show at Venetian. We were treated to a series of sights and sounds spectacle. Plus there were fire wielding performers riding on the gondolas!

Its already pass 10pm when were done, feeling famished, we headed to the Festivita Foodcourt to have our late dinner.

We tried the famous 大利來記豬扒包 and a Taiwanese 滷肉飯 set meal. The pork chop bun was good, but the  滷肉飯 was terribly salty! We avoided this stall like a plague after. Read more about the Foodcourt here.

We were finally back to our hotel room at 11pm, did some quick photoshoot of the room before retiring for the night.

We were staying at the impressively spacious 70sqm Royale Suite w/ Cotai View for 5 nights. Read more about this awesome suite here.

Bedtime! Official sightseeing shall commence tomorrow...good night zzzzz..
