13 Recommended Eats in Bali (Seminyak & Jimbaran)

Bali being one of the most touristy islands in Indonesia, has a huge exciting mix of traditional, modern and fusion cuisine to satisfy every visitor. Seminyak in particular, offers numerous hip and trendy restaurants and cafes, with unique themes and decor, that rivals the dining scene of the cosmopolitan Singapore. Another bonus, our strong currency kept the prices of food here extremely affordable, even at upmarket establishments.

1. Gardin Bistro & Patisserie Bali

The most photogenic restaurant we've visited during our trip had to be Gardin Bali. The glasshouse garden and church theme restaurant and bar is beautiful from inside out, literally.

The food menu offers French, Western and Indonesian fusion cuisine. We ordered mains and appetizer, and also cocktail and mocktail for drinks. Everything was delicious, definitely recommended!

2. The Bistrot

One thing about Seminyak is that it has way too many beautiful/unique restaurants. I had a really hard time trying to shortlist the 10 that I managed to visit. And Bistrot is another one with fantastic decor (Vintage theme) that I can't stop taking pictures of.

They serve a mixture of Western, Asian fusion and Indonesian dishes. Food was good, and reasonably priced (for SG standard). Recommended.
