Back again, to redeem complimentary appetizers before the loyalty card expires on 31Oct.
They gave the menu a facelift, now it looks so sweet with the kimono print. Prices and dishes seem to remain mostly unchanged.
I can redeem one Chawanmushi and one Tori Karaage, so I ordered two more dishes to complete the meal.
Ichiban Roll $14.90++
Tempura King prawn wrapped with jap cucumber and topped with mayo and tobiko. The serving is really huge, I only managed to finished the 'body', head and tail left untouched.
This dish is very yummy, the king prawn was very fresh and crunchy and paired well with the avocado and seaweed inside.
Ika Meshi $10.90
Grill squid stuffed with garlic rice and served with miso garlic sauce. This was nice too, the squid is fresh and springy and rice was flavorful.
The Chawanmushi and Tori Karaage was not too bad, nothing to shout about but decent.
I will be back again when I needed Jap food fix...
