Day 8, Glass bottom boat tour

Our hotel provides complimentary water sports included in the room price, some of them are windsurfing, pedal boat, kayak, sailing, dinghies, aqua gym, snorkeling, glass–bottom boat, waterskiing. We booked a Glass bottom boat tour to check out the corals and fishes at the offshore lagoon. I also had the intention of sightseeing n take pics of the view of hotel's beach n Le Morne mountain from the sea...it was one of the most photographed sights in Mauritius.

Weather was good and we had clear view of the mountain and nice turquoise color water...the pics all turned out just like advertisement on the brochures.

But the underwater part is disappointing cos not much corals to see n very few fishes...worst than the Maldives one we did in 2005.

Further down the beach, we saw the still 'construction in progress' St. Regis hotel...still so much incomplete work...it was supposedly due to open mid Sep...no wonder I see forumers kpkb about kena sabo by St. Regis...at the end of St. Regis, there is a public beach. The public beach is very happening...got loud music blasting away and many wind surfers n kite surfers in action.
