Bliss House Theme Restaurant @Central, Clarke Quay

It's my friend's birthday and she chose this place for the celebration cos it looks similar concept as Fullhouse theme restaurant at Rendezvous hotel which we liked very much. We were quite disappointed with this place...other than similar looking decor, this place is nothing like Fullhouse. Food is expensive, service is slow and lousy. Waiting time for food is painfully long despite the place is 90% empty at lunch hour...a mystery only agent Mulder can solve..

This restaurant is new, no website yet...not much info can be found on their FB page either...decor is new looking...we don't quite understand the bridal corner concept paired with the grand piano though..

Main dining area is at the 'outdoor garden' area with fake grass and white tables & chairs..

Not photogenic pumpkin carriage

The horrible looking menu...cheap looking white paper that is stapled together...it is torn, dirty, crumbled...looks like 10yrs old primary school exam paper.

Drinks are blah tasting...not worth mentioning at all!

Food is largely a hits and misses affair...some tasted quite good, some are nothing to rave about..

Baked portobello mushroom

Grill Scallops & Prawns...nice and fresh!

mushroom soup

Kurobuta pork chop

Red snapper...nice.

Boneless short ribs

Seafood angel hair pasta

Seafood spaghetti

Overall dining experience is bad and if I were you, I'll avoid this place at all cost!!

  2. The restaurant is only 10% occupied & they're telling us we have to wait?! Are they trying to tell us that there's only 1 chef in the kitchen cooking?
