This is a hip American bistro style restaurant specializing in thin crusted pizzas. The open concept eatery has bright colored checkers floor, classic of an American bistro, and custom made modern furniture and lighting. Check out that 'light bulb cage' hanging 'chandelier', an intriguing centerpiece of the restaurant.
Table setting, with an interesting CD casing used for displaying current promotions. A metal container with cutlery and a pizza cutter.
The menu mainly focus on various flavors of pizzas, classic and asian fusion. For those who don't fancy pizza, fret not, there are several kinds of pastas and main courses available too. They have an interesting range of sides on offer, such as prawn w/ cauliflower couscous, sweet potato nibblets etc. Plus a separate menu just for desserts, the exact same one as House @Dempsey restaurant (both under the Spa Espirit group).
I ordered one of their new Mocktails, Passion chocolate cookie fizz $6++. The slice of grapefruit that came with the drink was limp and soft, it wasn't fresh. However, it provided the sweet and fizzy soda with a perfect tang that perks up the drink. It was surprising good!
For main course I had the Black pepper king prawn linguine $25++. The pasta came with 2 huge king prawns topped with luscious caviar and salmon roe. The grilled king prawns were fresh and succulent but were a little overcooked at the sides. Linguine was done al dente, very springy and tasted delicious with the thick and spicy black pepper sauce..yums.
I ordered a 1/4 meter long pork sausage $6++ as a side dish. The sausage tasted good but was a tad salty. I ate it together with the rocket leaves to balance out the saltiness.
I deliberately saved some space for one last dish, the dessert. I picked their signature Bitter chocolate tart $7.50++ to complete my meal. The dark chocolate tart was wonderfully rich and smooth with a well balanced bitter-sweet taste. The crust wasn't crunchy anymore but was still crumbly and flavorful. A fabulous end to my dinner.
The service level here was ok, some newer staffs are not well versed with the items on the menus. They are however polite and prompt to attend to our needs. The ambiance here was great, cheery and cozy. Food was of good quality and priced reasonably. I will definitely be back.
