2nd half of the day, we visited the Grand bay area...the first touristy hotels were built here...so naturally this area is very happening with many hotels/resorts/apartments, restaurants, pubs, shops etc. etc.

We also visited this very cute little chapel Notre-Dame Auxiliatrice de Cap Malheureux and the beach area there..
From the shore, we're able to see the island of Coin de Mire (which happens to be the 床头照 of our hotel room hehe).

Lastly, we shopped at the biggest hypermart of Mauritius, Super U, and bought some food stuff for my mom.

One thing I need to mention is that public toilets in Mauritius is very clean n odorless, cleaner than SG ones. The janitors are very serious about their job..
