Macau trip Day 4, Hong Kong day tour

Hubby hasn't visited HK before so I brought him over for a quick look see. We caught the 1130am ferry from Taipa ferry terminal. I had planned this trip on a Monday cos many tourist places in Macau are closed on Mondays (Panda pavilion, Guia cable car, Macao museum etc.) while in HK everything is open.

We reached HK island Sheung Wan ferry terminal in about 1hr. First stop is Dim Sum lunch at Chuk Yuen to fueled up for the day. I found this restaurant via food blogger shootfirsteatlater. Food was delicious and cheap! Highly recommended.

After a satisfying meal, we took a short ride on the Ding Ding tram to Murray stop at Central. Then a short walk to the Peak Tram station at Garden road.

Bought a pair of return tickets to The Peak. The Peak tram was packed, couldn't get a nice shot of the scenery outside.

I had pre-booked admission tickets to the Madam Tussauds wax museum. Some photos of the wax celebs we saw...

We also checked out the view of the city from the viewing pavilion. Its raining and visibility was low.

After we're done with The Peak, we took a train from Central to Tsim Sha Tsui to check out some Xmas lighting at 1881 Heritage and Harbour City.

We had our dinner at Cafe de Coral 大家樂 at Star House. 大家樂 is HK's local fast food chain, food was cheap and filling. Read more about it here.

Post dinner, we took a short walk to the Star Ferry terminal to wait for the 8pm light show at Victoria Harbour.

We decided to have dessert at Hui Lau Shan 許留山 before heading back to Macau. This place has very good mango desserts and friendly staffs.

The Kowloon ferry terminal is a 10-15mins on foot from the Star House building. After getting tickets, we still have 45mins before boarding time, so we rested our feet at McCafe.

Another 1hr ride on choppy sea, we reached the Macau ferry terminal and caught the last hotel shuttle back to Venetian.

We were deadbeat by the time we reached our room. Shall start the next day slightly late...
